A 4-1/2" angle grinder mounted with an abrasive wheel has proven the best tool for cutting fiberglass, but it still took almost two days to excavate the old transom to the dump. The two layers of 34 oz. triaxial applied to the interior were carried 48" out over the original hull. 4 additional layers of 34 oz. were applied down the centerline, and 3 more on top of that at the rudder and drive shaft penetration points. | |||
