The new step transom platform was laid up with nine layers of 17oz. biaxial and is uncored. Within the 2 hour window I had to work the epoxy I was able to get 3 layers of glass applied and the vacuum pulled, so it took 3 pulls to finish this part. Even with all that, making a descent quality mold is the truly time consuming part of this process. In the photo of the finished part you can see the recesses for the swim ladder.
