I see in the textures and patina of objects the vestiges of a story. Interlaced in their surfaces are the remnants of the forces that shaped them, gave them a history, and made them compelling to view. I enjoy modeling those surfaces with light, revealing their shapes, and giving them a new presence in my photographs.
